“Harmonious Garden”

The process corresponds to a piece of silver fused in a frame for Champlevé, to which Cloisonné wire was added to then proceed to enamel Copihue flower figures. It also contains an application of acid etched silver and enamel sparks to evoke the green aspect of a mountain range, next to the openwork of two Araucaria trees. This piece is mounted and riveted on a previously polished Picoyo base (Amber from the Araucarias)

The interpretation of the piece represents the harmony of the Chilean landscape in the southern part of the country, since in our Andes mountain range, next to the Araucaria forests (National Tree), which symbolizes strength and prosperity, there are also Copihue Flower vines (National Flower) that symbolizes joy, friendship, gratitude and love.

The most difficult challenge was overcoming the fear of enameling small drawings, along with the Cloisonné wire work, since due to a very small disability in my hand , So I was scared to do it.

In this challenge I learned the Cloisonné and Champlevé process since it is my first time doing it. But the most important thing I learned is that if you want to do something, then you can do it.
