“Moonlight on Tendrils”

I was excited about the theme I was given, although wasn't sure how I would visually present it. After sketching a bit I knew I wanted to include a raven! When I found a beautiful selection of wooden tendrils I knew this was what I was looking for! I took them home making a variety of arrangements with them then sketched and developed the design from there. I began wire work after several sketches and deciding on color palette, placement of moon, raven and tendrils. Once the piece was finalized I knew I wanted to include 18k gold knot on the chain that would suspend the piece! I love how a design is usually a development process and one just has to follow along.
