“Veiled Celebration”

I interpreted the theme as a party going on with indistinct faces in the background (the veiled part). The challenge was to veil the faces. As time went on they became more indistinct until in the final version (first photo) there's a single face at the bottom, too veiled to photograph. The celebration concept was flowers in the foreground, and festive stampings in the background.

I learned lots about how to manage transparent colors overlaid with translucent, which are sometimes more transparent than I thought. I used NG-302, Blythe T-8, and Thompson 835 in various versions, and there's some iridescence in the final.
