“ Garden Flight “
I worked with opaque whites with opal qualities that were a sweet surprise. I have always thought irises looked like birds or winged things, graceful and ready to fly in the breeze. I made butterflies in the setting. It was hard to solder so many layers on this setting, but I only had to resolder two places that came undone when I added other pieces. It is a pin and a pendant. The wirework was fun, but challenging. I made two irises, one has an open spot I did not see until I had a few layers in!
