“ Lively Enigma “
As defined by Cambridge Dictionary, 'Challenge' (Difficult job/task) is the situation of being faced with) something that needs great mental or physical effort in order to be done successfully and therefore tests a person's ability.
This project tested both those virtues. Firstly, how do I transpose those two little, yet complex, words 'Lively Enigma' into something that transposes my ideology to life. Those words circled around my head for weeks until that light bulb of imagination went off, which later transpired to inspiration.
Secondly, I wanted to challenge myself to do something 'out of the box' then what I usually do.
This project was an excellent task to push my own boundaries and experiment with various different enamels such as opalescence rather than sticking to my usual Japanese transparents.
As always, time was something that even though I usually manage very well but everyday life has a way of stopping you in your tracks and turning your best laid plans into chaos.
I loved the whole process and will definitely be back next year for a new CHALLENGE 🥰
